Marta is a graphic artist who works in woodblock printing and various drawing techniques. She treats wood blocks as a medium in itself. Handmade printing makes each artwork unique in terms of color radiance and motif sharpness. She takes inspiration from the Polish countryside, its idyllic landscapes and way of life. Observing untrammeled movement of horses, their freedom and joyfulness enable her to experience dynamics and rhythms within nature. Like no other, horses remember the way back home. They help her remember about her own journey.
